One Killed in Roseville Bicycle Accident on Taylor Road

 
ROSEVILLE, CA (February 6, 2023) – The Roseville Police Department confirmed that one person died in a bicycle accident on Taylor Road on January 31.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Stonehouse Court around 5:00 AM. Based on a report, the bicyclist was traveling on the road at the time of the crash.
 
At that point, the bicycle was moving in and out of the roadway and there was limited street lighting in the area. Subsequently, a vehicle struck the victim.
 
As a result, the bicyclist suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police say the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with them. They did not suspect the driver of DUI or speeding.
