Rodrigo Jaramillo and Eustorgio Aguirre Die in Travis County Car Accident on Pearce Lane
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX (October 11, 2022) – Police identified Eustorgio Aguirre and Rodrigo Jaramillo as the victims who died in a car accident in the 14000 block of Pearce Lane on October 9.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Pearce prior to the crash. For unknown reasons, DPS said the car drove off the road southbound and hit an electric pole on the driver’s side.
As a result, officials said 23-year-old Aguirre – the driver of the car – and 42-year-old Jaramillo died in the incident.
The Austin Fire Department, Travis County Fire Rescue and ATCEMS were on the scene and sent the third occupant of the car to the hospital with unknown injuries.
As of now, police traffic investigators are handling the incident. In addition, no other details are available.
