Erik Mora Identified in Fatal Fremont Crash on Niles Boulevard

 
FREMONT, CA (February 13, 2023) – Police identified 53-year-old Erik Mora of Modesto as the victim who died in a car crash on Niles Boulevard on February 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Hillview Drive around 8:27 PM.
 
Based on a report, one vehicle was traveling south on Niles while another was traveling east on Hillview. As the second vehicle on Hillview was turning left onto Niles, it crashed into the first car. Subsequently, both vehicles hit an unoccupied parked vehicle and one hit a house.
 
As a result, Fremont firefighters said Mora died at the scene. It was not clear which vehicle he was in.
 
A 19-year-old Fremont man extricated himself and was taken to a trauma center.
