Adriana Olivan Killed, Antonio Machorro Arrested in DUI Crash on North Stanton Street [El Paso, TX]

Adriana Olivan Identified in Fatal Wrong-Way Crash in El Paso, Antonio Machorro Arrested

 
EL PASO, TX (February 13, 2023) – El Paso police identified 41-year-old Adriana Olivan of New Mexico as the victim who died in a wrong-way crash in the 600 block of North Stanton Street.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened over the weekend.
 
Based on a report, 20-year-old Antonio Machorro of Denton was driving a 2014 Camaro at high speeds in the wrong way of traffic prior to the crash. Subsequently, he struck Olivan’s 2012 Dodge Journey.
 
As a result, Olivan died at the hospital after sustaining grave injuries.
 
Machorro suffered minor injuries. He admitted to drinking multiple shots at several bars prior to the crash and police placed him under arrest.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation.
