EL PASO, TX (October 7, 2024) — 34-year-old Emmanuel Torres sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run on Tuesday, September 24.
 
El Paso Police said the hit-and-run occurred near the 7200 block of Alameda Avenue just before 7:30 p.m.
 
According to the El Paso Police, a Nissan Titan struck Torres as he tried to cross Alameda Avenue.
 
The driver of that truck remained on the scene with Torres. Then a second pickup truck hit Torres a second time, resulting in fatal injuries. The second driver fled the scene.
 
The only information police determined about the second truck is that it was white. However, they believe a witness might know more about the driver.
