Denton police said a Ford F-150 struck Santiago, who was in the motorized wheelchair, on East McKinney Street.
 
Emergency responders brought Santiago to Medical City Denton, where he died of blunt force injuries.
 
Records showed that Santiago lived on McKinney Street.
 
Denton Police said the driver of the truck stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
