Fatal Solo-Car Crash on 10 Freeway in Hudspeth County

 
HUDSPETH COUNTY, TX (March 25, 2024) – Officials confirmed that an eight-year-old girl died in a rollover crash on 10 Freeway on March 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened about eight miles west of Van Horn at approximately 4:06 AM. Based on a report, the girl was a passenger inside a car that was traveling east on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the car veered off the road, rolled over, and came to a rest on its side.
 
As a result, the girl suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
There were three other people inside of the car and their conditions were not yet known.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
