Eduardo Valdennegro Identified in Fatal Accident Involving Two Trucks on CR 300 in Loving County

LOVING COUNTY, TX (September 26, 2023) – Officials identified 43-year-old Eduardo Valdennegro of Socorro who died in a semi-truck accident on CR 300 on September 13.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened near FM 652. Based on a report, Valdennegro was driving a 2007 international truck with a trailer westbound on FM 652 prior to the crash.

At the same time, 31-year-old Roberto Haydes of Odessa was driving a 2016 Peterbilt truck with a trailer northbound on the road. Due to unknown reasons, Haydes failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and collided with Valdennegro.

As a result, Valdennegro sustained life-threatening injuries and died in the incident.

Haydes was not hurt in the crash.

As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
