Edna Villa Identified in Fatal Phoenix Car Crash

 
PHOENIX, AZ (September 25, 2023) – Officers identified 27-year-old Edna Villa who died in a crash on 79th Avenue on September 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Lower Buckeye Road shortly after 8:00 AM. Based on a report, the car Villa was riding in made a left turn and collided with another vehicle.
 
As a result, Villa and two other adults sustained serious injuries. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital, where Villa died.
 
Police don’t suspect impairment was a contributing factor to the crash.
