Driver Fatally Injured after Glendale Crash on 83rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue

 
GLENDALE, AZ (April 29, 2024) — A driver died after a fiery accident on 83rd Avenue on Saturday, April 13.
 
According to the Glendale Fire, the accident occurred near 83rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue at about 12:40 p.m.
 
Glendale Fire said that the driver of the pickup truck tried to turn from a private parking lot onto Glendale Avenue. Then a vehicle moving east hit the truck.
 
Crews responded to the accident and found the truck fully engulfed in flames.
 
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and administered aid to the driver, who died at the scene.
 
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver.
 
There were no reports of other injuries in the crash.
 
Officers closed the area near the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue just after 12:30 p.m. as they conducted an investigation. They reopened Glendale Avenue at around 6:30 p.m.
