LAS VEGAS, NV (December 22, 2023) — A 24-year-old man died in a speeding accident on Sloan Lane on Tuesday, December 12.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metro police, the accident happened at about 10:29 p.m. on Sloan Lane at East Charleston Boulevard.
 
Police said the speeding driver left the roadway at the T-intersection. After that, it hit several fixed objects before the car rolled over.
 
First responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The Clark County coroner’s office has not yet released his identity pending notification of loved ones.
 
There are no reports whether alcohol or drugs contributed as a factor in the crash.
 
The incident is the 148th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for this year.
