Donald Dolan Identified in Fatal Car Accident in Smith County, Concepcion Moreira Injured

 
SMITH COUNTY, TX (April 25, 2023) – Officers identified 65-year-old Donald Dolan of Whitehouse as the victim who died in an accident on Toll 49 on April 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened about eight miles south of Tyler at approximately 6:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, Dolan was driving a car eastbound on Toll 49 prior to the crash. At the same time, a 36-year-old Concepcion Moreira of Jacksonville was driving westbound.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Dolan’s car veered off the roadway and struck a guardrail, causing it to enter the westbound lane and collide with the SUV.
 
As a result, Dolan suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Moreira suffered injuries in the incident.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
