James Wyatt and Dolores Munoz Killed in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in Vidor

 
VIDOR, TX (March 20, 2024) – Officials identified 53-year-old Dolores Munoz of Houston and 60-year-old James Wyatt of Orange who died in a crash on 10 Freeway on March 11.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Main Street around 11:15 AM. Based on a report, Wyatt was driving a 2021 Ram 1500 west in the eastbound lane prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he hit a 2016 Ram head on. The 2016 Ram was carrying Munoz as a passenger. Subsequently, a 2023 Nissan Murano traveling eastbound struck both vehicles.
 
As a result, Wyatt and Munoz sustained grave injuries and both died at the scene.
 
Crews took the driver of the 2016 Ram to St. Elizabeth Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver and two passengers in the Murano were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
A fourth vehicle sustained minor damage in the wreck.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
