Dillon Long Killed in Motorcycle Accident on South Prudence Road [Tucson, AZ]

Dillon Long Identified in Fatal Tucson Motorcycle Crash

 
TUCSON, AZ (May 16, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department identified 22-year-old Dillon Alexander Long in a fatal motorcycle crash on South Prudence Road on May 11.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at East Escalante Road around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, a Nissan hatchback stopped for a stop sign on south Prudence Road prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the Nissan collided with Long when it tried to cross Escalante Road.
 
As a result, Long suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Crews transported the Nissan driver to St. Joseph’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Police said Long was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
