BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 13, 2022) – 24-year-old Diana Ordonez dies in a pedestrian accident on White Lane on Sunday evening, December 4.

Based on the reports of the involved authorities, the fatal accident occurred around 7:04 p.m. on the 200 block of East White Lane. According to the initial investigation, Ordonez was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when a vehicle struck her.

Medical personnel arrived and found Ordonez lying in the road with major injuries. Medics tried to save Ordonez but she later died at the scene.

The driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation, police said.

Authorities added that DUI or speed were not factors that caused the accident.
