Taeler Greenleaf, Diana Cintron Killed in Killeen Head-On Accident

 
KILLEEN, TX (March 5, 2024) — Two women, identified as Diana Cintron and Taeler Greenleaf, died in a fiery head-on crash on Friday, February 23.
 
According to the Killeen Police Department, the accident happened in the 2800 block of East Rancier Avenue shortly after midnight.
 
An initial investigation determined the driver of the White Cadillac traveled westbound on Rancier Avenue. Then it crossed over the center line into the eastbound inside lane. After that, it crashed head-on with a maroon Kia Telluride.
 
When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered the Kia on fire with a deceased female driver pinned inside. The 33-year-old driver identified as Cintron died at the scene.
 
Killeen firefighters extricated the female driver of the Cadillac out of the vehicle. Then they airlifted her to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, where she later died. Authorities later identified her as 20-year-old Greenleaf.
 
Police said they believe impairment may have played a role in the crash.
 
The incident is still under investigation. KPD urges anyone with information to call traffic investigators at 254-501-8830.
