GOODYEAR, AZ (June 7, 2024) – Officials identified 25-year-old Devin Firth of Goodyear who died in a pedestrian accident on 167th Avenue on May 27.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Canyon Trails Boulevard around 6:00 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck Firth in the lanes.
 
As a result, Firth suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
 
Police said the juvenile driver who hit Firth stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Police said speed was a factor in the deadly incident.
