Denya Wilkins Identified in Fatal Accident on Highway 395 in Addy

 
ADDY, WA (February 26, 2025) – Authorities identified 49-year-old Denya M. Wilkins of Deer Park who died in an accident on Highway 395 on February 18.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Addy-Gifford Road around 5:10 PM. Based on a report, Wilkins was driving a Toyota 4Runner northbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she crossed the center line to the southbound lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
 
As a result, Wilkins suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Troopers said she was not wearing a seat belt that time.
 
The other driver was not hurt in the incident.
 
The fatal wreck closed the affected lanes of the highway to give way to clearing and police operations in the area.
