ACTON, CA (February 27, 2023) – Officers identified 27-year-old David Lopez Martin as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Soledad Canyon Road on February 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Sierra Highway around 12:46 AM. Based on a report, the victim was on the road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the L.A. County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the driver who hit Martin remained on the scene and called first responders.
 
Police did not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the incident.
