Danielle Littrell Fatally Injured after Spokane Scooter Accident

 
SPOKANE, WA (July 16, 2024) — A 23-year-old, Danielle Littrell, died in a scooter crash on Lincoln Street on Tuesday, July 2.
 
According to the Spokane Fire Department, firefighters responded to a crash shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Lincoln Street and 4th Avenue.
 
The Spokane Police Department said a woman rode her scooter north on Lincoln Street towards 4th Avenue. At the same intersection, a man who drove eastbound on 4th Street stopped at a stop sign.
 
After that, his car and the woman riding the scooter collided when the driver pulled into the intersection.
 
People in the area administered CPR on the woman until the first responders arrived. Then the paramedics took over. However, she still succumbed to her injuries and died.
 
According to the Spokane County Medical Examiner, her cause of death was blunt force injuries to the head and torso as a result of the crash.
 
Officers said impairment was probably not a factor in the incident.
 
Police shut Lincoln Street for hours as they investigated what caused to the crash.
