Daniel Youngblood Died after Henderson Motorcycle Accident

 
HENDERSON, NV (January 22, 2024) — A Henderson motorcycle crash left 21-year-old Daniel Youngblood dead on Wednesday, January 17.
 
According to the Henderson Police Department, the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Mead Parkway and Boulder Highway.
 
Police said Youngblood rode a motorcycle west on Lake Mead Parkway toward Boulder Highway at a high rate of speed. At the same time, a silver SUV moved south on Boulder Highway. It entered the intersection of Lake Mead on a green light.
 
The motorcyclist failed to yield to a red light. He then struck the driver’s side of the SUV. The rider later died due to sustained injuries from the crash in a local hospital.
 
Medical personnel also transported the occupants of the SUV to a medical center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said they consider speed as a factor in the incident. Whether impairment was a factor is not yet known.
 
Henderson police said they closed the intersection in all directions after the crash.
 
This crash is the fourth accident-related death in 2024 for Henderson police.
