Daniel Solis Killed in Fatal Odessa Crash Involving Pickup and Semi-Truck
ODESSA, TX (November 8, 2022) – Police identified 31-year-old Daniel Solis of Brownwood as the victim who died in a crash in the 6000 block of 20 Freeway on November 1.
According to the Texas Safety Department, the collision happened in the eastbound lanes at approximately 11:50 PM.
Based on a report, Solis was driving a white 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 pulling a trailer on the freeway prior to the crash. In front of him was a blue 2013 Kenworth pulling a Wabash box trailer. Subsequently, Solis struck the rear of the Wabash trailer.
As a result, the Odessa Police Department press said Solis died at the scene.
Officers stated that crews transported the other occupants of the Dodge to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
