Nathan Schwarz and Daniel Saenz Identified in Fatal Single-Car Crash in McAllen

 
MCALLEN, TX (January 5, 2024) – The McAllen Police Department identified 22-year-old Daniel Guadalupe Saenz of McAllen and 40-year-old Nathan Gower Schwarz of Pharr who died in a crash on 12th Street on December 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Pecan Boulevard around 2:40 AM. Based on a report, Saenz while driving near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole.
 
As a result, Saenz and his passenger, Schwarz, suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital, where they later died.
