TUCSON, AZ (December 10, 2024) — 51-year-old Daniel Armenta Gracia died in a pedestrian accident on Friday, December 6.
 
According to the Tucson police, the accident occurred on South Nogales Highway, just south of West Valencia Road shortly before 6:00 a.m.
 
Tucson police said Gracia tried to cross South Nogales Highway. Then a northbound maroon Nissan Altima struck him. After that, another vehicle hit him.
 
Emergency responders arrived and pronounced Gracia dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Nissan, a 51-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
 
The investigation is still underway. There were no charges or citations issued.
