Dale Lauzon Dead after Tucson Pedestrian Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 16, 2025) — Dale Anthony Lauzon, 57, suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday, February 5.
 
According to the Tucson Police, the incident occurred on the 800 block of East Aviation Parkway at around 8:40 p.m.
 
Police said Lauzon was in a crouched position in the westbound lanes. Then a blue 2018 Kia Soul, driven by an unidentified 54-year-old, hit Lauzon.
 
Responding officers pronounced Lauzon dead at the scene.
 
Authorities noted that the section of Aviation Parkway has fencing to deter pedestrian traffic, and the streetlights were operational at the time.
 
The driver stopped immediately following the accident. Officials said impairment was not a factor.
 
The investigation of the incident is still underway.
