MOSES LAKE, WA (December 8, 2022) – Moses Lake police confirmed that 58-year-old Cynthia Jackson struck and killed a pedestrian on Highway 17 on November 29.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened in the left lane of the highway.
 
Based on a report, Jackson was driving southbound when she struck a 36-year-old pedestrian. Subsequently, she stopped and remained at the scene until paramedics arrived.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Jackson was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, the cause of the collision is under investigation.
