Cristian Wilson Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (March 27, 2024) – Officials identified 31-year-old Cristian Wilson who died in a hit-and-run in the 2600 block of South Kirkwood Road on March 15.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 9:15 PM. Based on a report, Wilson was attempting to cross the road at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a red Toyota Camry traveling northbound on the road hit him. The vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.
 
As a result, Wilson suffered grave injuries in the incident. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
Officers later identified and arrested the driver, 42-year-old Misty D. Devall. They charged her with failure to stop and render aid involving a death in the 230th State District Court.
 
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
