Jorrick Battle, Connor Steyer Killed in Dallas Wrong-Way Accident

 
DALLAS, TX (August 29, 2023) — Two drivers, identified as Connor Steyer and Jorrick Battle, died in a wrong-way crash on Saturday, August 26.
 
According to Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2019 Mazda CX5 traveled north in the southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Wycliff Avenue just after 4:30 a.m.
 
At the same time, the driver of a 2017 Ford F150 moved south in the southbound lanes near Wycliff Avenue.
 
The driver of the Mazda, 27-year-old Connor Steyer, of Richardson, crashed head-on into the truck driven by 55-year-old Jorrick Battle, from Houston
 
Dallas County Medical Examiner pronounced both Steyer and Battle dead at the scene.
 
Reports said Steyer did not wear a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
