Cody Hill Killed in Tucson Pedestrian Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (February 4, 2025) — 65-year-old Cody Lawrence Hill died in a pedestrian accident on Sunday, January 19.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident happened on South Kolb Road just south of East Broadway Boulevard.
 
Investigators said Hill was walking outside of a crosswalk. Then a Jeep Liberty struck him.
 
Emergency arrived and then responders transported Hill to the hospital in critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries on January 30.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Officials confirmed the driver was not under the influence at the time of the collision.
 
Police said midblock crossing was a major factor in the accident.
 
The Tucson Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
