Chloe Sutton Dead, Sage Jones Hospitalized after Solo-Car Accident in Clarkston

 
CLARKSTON, WA (July 5, 2023) — A Lewiston woman identified as 19-year-old Chloe Murphy Sutton died in a crash on Wednesday, June 21.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened along Highway 129, east of the Red Wolf Bridge.
 
WSP said 19-year-old Sage Jones was behind the wheel of a 2008 Subaru Impreza moving west at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Then the vehicle left the roadway and traveled into the westbound ditch.
 
Sutton, who was a passenger in the Subaru, died at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported Jones to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston with unspecified injuries.
 
Investigators believe impairment played a factor in the incident.
 
Reports said there are pending charges against Jones.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
