COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (January 18, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that a child was hurt in a pedestrian accident on North Murray Boulevard on January 11.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Pikes Peak Avenue around 8:40 AM. Based on a report, the victim was walking near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Police said the victim was in a crosswalk at that time and the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Police did not release information regarding the suspect vehicle.
