PHOENIX, AZ (November 14, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 60-year-old Cheryl Lowe who died in a hit-and-run on 27th Avenue on November 1.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Campbell Avenue around 5:45 AM. Based on a report, Lowe was crossing the street at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck her. The driver of the vehicle then left the area without reporting the incident and helping Lowe.
 
As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries and died in the incident.
