Charles Tage and Cameron Rash Killed, Ashley Bergemann-Echeverri Injured in Schertz Motorcycle Accident

 
SCHERTZ, TX (October 8, 2024) — Charles Edward Tage and Cameron Rash died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, September 29.
 
According to the Schertz Police Department, the crash happened near the corner of FM 1518 and Schaefer Road at about 11:20 p.m.
 
The Schertz Police said the collision involved a motorcycle and bicycle. Both the motorcyclist and the bicyclist died in the accident.
 
A 37-year-old passenger on the motorcycle, identified as Ashley Bergemann-Echeverri, sustained minor injuries. Emergency responders brought her to University Hospital.
 
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased bicyclist as 60-year-old Charles Edward Tage. On Sunday, they also identified the deceased motorcycle rider as 32-year-old Cameron Rash.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
