Riders Cash Mullins and 19-Year-Old Cutter Watson Identified in Fatal Lubbock Accident

 
LUBBOCK, TX (September 6, 2023) – Officers identified 20-year-old Cash Mullins and 19-year-old Cutter Watson as the riders who died in an accident on CR 2000 on August 27.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened about four miles west of New Deal shortly after 1:30 AM. Based on a report, Mullins was riding his motorcycle south on CR 2000 prior to the crash. At the same time, Watson was heading north on the same road.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided in the roadway.
 
As a result, both Mullins and Watson suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
 
The report stated the riders were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
