Carlos Jaime, Teofilo Granada Killed in Crash on 35 Freeway [Laredo, TX]

Carlos Andres Jaime, Teofilo Ivan Granada Identified in Fatal Head-On Crash in Laredo

 
LAREDO, TX (January 3, 2024) – Authorities identified 28-year-old Carlos Andres Jaime and 32-year-old Teofilo Ivan Granada who died in a crash on 35 Freeway on December 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near mile marker 24 around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, Jaime was driving a black 2012 Audi SUV southbound in the freeway’s northbound lanes before the crash.
 
At the same time, Granada was driving a gray 2014 Mazda northbound on the same road. Subsequently, both their vehicles collided head-on.
 
As a result, the victims suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
