Canon Squires Killed after Menifee Motorcycle Accident

 
MENIFEE, CA (February 2, 2023) – 55-year-old Canon Squires died after a motorcycle and pickup truck crash on Bundy Canyon Road and Wright Road on January 28.

According to the Menifee Police Department, the fatal accident happened at around 4:17 p.m. Based on a report, both a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Ford pickup were about to make a left turn at the time.

The motorcycle tried to pass the slowing traffic on the opposite side of the road when the Ford had already started to turn. As a result, the motorcycle crashed into the side of the Ford.

Squires was knocked off the bike. Responders attempted life-saving measures, but he sustained major injuries and eventually died at the scene.

The Ford driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officers ruled out the connection of drugs and alcohol in the crash.
