Candis Mora, Son Survive Abilene Rollover Accident on Highway 84

 
ABILENE, TX (September 5, 2023) – Officers identified Candis Mora of Abilene who survived an accident on Highway 84 on August 6.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened between Snyder and Roscoe around 9:50 PM. Based on a report, Mora was driving down the highway with her 12-year-old son.
 
The road was dark and a huge truck tire with the rim still in it hit their vehicle. Subsequently, they careened into the ditch to the right and rolled four times before coming to rest on the passenger side of the pickup.
 
Two men who had nearly hit the tire came to their aid and called emergency services to the scene. The men also helped free Mora from her seatbelt.
 
As a result, Mora and her son, Francisco, sustained some slight contusions and an imprint from their seatbelts.
