Caleb Tatum Identified in Fatal Crash in Glenn County

 
GLENN COUNTY, CA (May 2, 2023) – The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office identified 28-year-old Caleb Tatum of Orland as the victim who died in a crash on County Road P on April 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at County Road 24 around 7:35 PM. Based on a report, Tatum was driving a 1999 Ford pickup west on County Road prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. Then, a 2022 Ford pickup traveling northbound on County Road struck his car, causing it to overturn and partially eject him from the vehicle.
 
As a result, Tatum suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The driver of the 2022 Ford, 30-year-old Jacob Shriver of Orland suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
