Byron Gutierrez-Rodriguez Identified in Fatal Single-Car Accident in Austin

 
AUSTIN, TX (December 28, 2023) – The Austin Police Department identified 21-year-old Byron Gutierrez-Rodriguez who died in a car accident on Loop 360 on December 7.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened west of Barton Creek Mall around 12:40 PM. Based on a report, Gutierrez-Rodriguez was one of three people in a vehicle that crashed on the road.
 
As a result, Gutierrez-Rodriguez sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The driver and another passenger declined hospitalization.
