Brock Davidson Dead, Homar Hernandez Injured in Midland Two-Vehicle Accident

 
MIDLAND, TX (February 20, 2025) — A 55-year-old man, Brock D. Davidson, of St. Johns, Florida, died in a crash on Monday, February 10.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at around 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of South County Road 1110 and East County Road 173.
 
Investigators determined that Davidson drove a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado. Then he failed to yield at a stop sign. As he entered the intersection, his vehicle collided with a 2016 Ford F-350 driven by 48-year-old Homar Hernandez, of Eagle Pass, Texas.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene. Then they transported both drivers to Midland Memorial Hospital. Medical officers pronounced Davidson dead. Meanwhile, Hernandez remains in serious condition.
 
Authorities stated that weather conditions at the time were cloudy.
 
Trooper Gollihare of the Texas Highway Patrol in Midland continues to investigate the incident.
