Brissa Acevedo Involved in Crash with Police Officer on Babcock Road in San Antonio

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 11, 2023) – The San Antonio Police Department arrested 30-year-old Brissa Acevedo following a DWI crash in the 6400 block of Babcock Road on December 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred shortly after midnight. Based on a report, Acevedo was in a white Mercedes-Benz leaving the parking lot of a bar nearby.
 
At the same time, an SAPD officer was traveling south on Babcock Road. Due to unknown reasons, Acevedo failed to yield before turning left, causing the officer’s car to hit the driver’s side of the Mercedes-Benz.
 
As a result, the officer reported pain in their upper body and was taken to the University Hospital in stable condition.
 
SAPD then arrested Acevedo for suspicion of DWI.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
