Brandy Johnson Killed after Wrong-Way Shelton Accident on Highway 101

 
SHELTON, WA (March 5, 2024) — A 52-year-old Oroville woman identified as Brandy E. Johnson died in a wrong-way crash on Friday, February 23.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened on Highway 101 at 10:00 p.m.
 
WSP said Johnson drove south in the northbound lanes of the highway near Cloquallum Road. At the same time, a 22-year-old man from Mexico drove northbound on the same highway.
 
Troopers said the woman collided head-on with the other driver. Both vehicles came to rest on the road.
 
Paramedics brought Johnson to Mason General Hospital in Shelton, where she died.
 
The man sustained injuries and paramedics transported him to the same hospital, WSP said.
 
Police suspect Johnson drove under the influence.
