4 Killed in Brush UTV Accident on Morgan County Road 31 and County Road C

 
BRUSH, CO (July 24, 2024)Brandon Adkins, Destiny Rios, and their two children died in a UTV accident on Wednesday, July 4.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash took place on Morgan County Road 31 and County Road C at around 3:34 p.m.
 
CSP said their initial investigation determined that the Polaris RZR UTV with four occupants traveled north on Morgan County Road 31. Then the UTV’s driver ignored a stop sign at County Road C. After that, a Dodge Ram 5500 moving west on County Road C struck the UTV.
 
All four people on the UTV died in the accident. CSP identified them as 22-year-old Brandon Adkins, 22-year-old Destiny Rios, and their children a 2-year-old boy and a 1-year-old child.
 
Paramedics transported the driver of the Ram to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
CSP said they are still trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
