Carlos Guerrero Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (July 24, 2024) – The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office identified 76-year-old Carlos Serrando Guerrero who died in a hit-and-run on 30 Freeway on June 26.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Buckner Boulevard shortly before 6:00 AM. Based on a report, Guerrero was attempting to cross the freeway before the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a possible grey or silver 2017 – 2020 Honda Accord struck him. Officers said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
 
As a result, Guerrero suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Officers are now looking for the vehicle that had visible damage to the front and the passenger-side headlight. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
