Brad Griffin and Thuy Nguyen Involved in 10-Vehicle Crash on Highway 10 in Orange County

 
ORANGE COUNTY, TX (July 5, 2023) – Officers cited 39-year-old Brad Griffin and 43-year-old Thuy Nguyen after 10 vehicles crashed on Highway 10 on June 24.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at the 876-mile marker around 12:33 PM. Based on the report, a Toyota Highlander traveling west on the highway was slowing down in the lanes at the of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, an Acura passenger car hit it from behind. This caused a chain reaction with eight other vehicles.
 
As a result, one of the drivers suffered injuries. Crews transported the victim to a Calcasieu Hospital for treatment.
 
Officers cited Griffin and Nguyen for failure to control speed.
