Motorcyclist Bobby Bowden Identified in Fatal Tucson Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (May 29, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department identified 33-year-old Bobby Gordon Bowden who died in a motorcycle accident on North Craycroft Road on May 21.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at East Rosewood Street. Based on a report, Bowden was driving a motorcycle recklessly and at a high rate of speed on North Craycroft Road.
 
Due to unknown circumstances, his bike collided with a Honda CR-V heading west on Rosewood Street.
 
As a result, Bowden suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
 
Emergency crews transported the driver of the vehicle to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
Police said there was no evidence to suggest impairment was involved. They suspected failure to yield from a stop sign by the Honda and speeding by the motorcyclist as factors of the collision.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
