Bicyclist Involved in Fatal Arvada Accident on 76 Freeway in Arvada

 
ARVADA, CO (July 24, 2024) – Officials confirmed that a bicyclist died in a fiery accident on 76 Freeway on July 2.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Sheridan Boulevard around 4:30 AM. Based on a report, troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover.
 
When they arrived, they found a car on fire in the center median of the freeway. They also found the bicyclist.
Due to the accident, the bicyclist died at the scene. The Adams County Coroner’s Office did not yet release the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle suffered serious injuries in the incident.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
