MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (April 18, 2024) – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a bicyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run on Happy Valley Road on March 29.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at El Mirage Road around 6:30 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a bike when he was hit by a vehicle.
 
Deputies received a call about the man on the road. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before their arrival.
 
As a result, the bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment,
