19-Year-Old Bea Cueto and 20-Year-Old Althea Cueto Killed, Shawn Bundy Arrested in Accident on Deer Valley Road [Surprise, AZ]

Althea Cueto, Bea Cueto Identified in Fatal Surprise Accident on Deer Valley Road

 
SURPRISE, AZ (October 24, 2023) – The Surprise Police Department identified 19-year-old Bea Cueto and 20-year-old Althea Cueto who died in a crash on Deer Valley Road on October 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Williams Road just after 2:00 AM. Based on a report, the victims’ Honda Civic collided with a Dodge Ram driven by Shawn Bundy. Officials did not yet release the details that led to the crash.
 
As a result, the siblings suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Police say they were sisters from Surprise.
 
Officers said speed and impairment were possible contributing factors in this crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
