Aurora Canales Dies in Hit-and-Run Head-On Car Crash in Carrollton

 
CARROLLTON, TX (October 30, 2022) – Police identified Aurora Canales, a mother of eight, as the victim who died in a head-on car crash on Marsh Lane on October 24.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Dove Creek Lane.
 
Based on a GoFundMe, Canales was with five of her children heading home from the grocery store.
 
As they approached the intersection, a driver in a red Camaro lost control and hit the family head-on. Subsequently, a third vehicle hit both vehicles.
 
As a result, Canales died in the incident.
 
Three of the children were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
The driver of the first car that hit the victim’s vehicle fled the scene. As of now, Carrollton police are still investigating the crash.
